Paint Night/Day PRIVATE EVENT

Enjoy creating with your friends as your instructor walks you through the featured painting you have chosen from our library of paintings. You can see out paintings on our Facebook page- Go to photos then click ‘gallery of paintings’!

 We walk you through step by step and our paintings are created to be easy, fun and beautiful! You take your masterpiece home the same day!

Duration- 2 Hours & 15 Minutes-which includes approximately 90-120 minutes of painting as well as all supplies.

$600.00 for a minimum of 10 guests  25 guest max. $58.00 per person for additional guests.  

This class uses a 16x20 canvas and Acrylic paint.

You may purchase additional time for $50.00 per 30 minute increments. Please request additional time at least one week before your event so we can plan staffing. If your event goes over the allotted time you will be charged the above rate.

 

Healing & Transformation with Art Collage! 

Join us and embark on a journey of personal transformation through art! Our creative collage workshop will help you tap into your creativity and express yourself in new and meaningful ways.

Through this workshop, you will learn how to use collage as a powerful tool for self-reflection and growth. We will begin by exploring different themes, such as "intuition’, "emotions," or "affirmations ," and discuss how each theme can help you gain insights about yourself and your life. 

Using materials such as paint, fabric and paper you’ll create a beautiful work of art with a focus on your chosen theme that will inspire you for days to come (think Vision Board!) 

As you work on your collage, you will have the opportunity to express yourself in a creative, safe and supportive environment. You will learn how to let go of perfectionism and trust your creative process, allowing your collage to reveal new insights and possibilities.

If you like you'll have the opportunity to share what you created and what it means to you (only if you WANT to).  You will leave this workshop with a beautiful and meaningful piece of art, as well as a deeper understanding of yourself and your path.

Hand Painted Canvas Bags 

You can use these beautiful & sturdy canvas bags to carry anything you like! Take them to the beach, grocery shopping, school or to carry your art supplies! Follow our designs or make it your own!  

These bags are off white and are made of natural canvas with a top zipper closure. They are machine washable even with paint on them!! Bag measurements 16.5''*13.4''*3.9'' (L*W*H); band: 9.4'' (H), long enough to wear over your shoulder.

Duration- 2 Hours & 15 minutes which includes approximately 90-120 minutes of painting as well as all supplies.

Beachy Resin Glass Class

Join us for this beachy, creative and fun class! We supply lots of beautiful items, shells, sea glass, beads, and many unusual items to create your design, however you are welcome to bring in anything you’d like to add.  We recommend special mementos, old jewelry, perhaps a shell from your favorite beach, even photos will work! Make your art personal!

We also supply a variety of templates to follow or you can wing it and freestyle your design. We are there to help every step of the way! After your design is set up, you get to leave and we get busy pouring the resin. 

We give the pieces at least 18 hours to set and you pick them up the next day! These beautiful pieces can be hung on the wall or placed in a window to reflect the natural light. All frames are  8x10.

Duration- 1-2 Hours- Everyone works at their own pace! 

$750.00 for a minimum of 10 guests - $72..00 per additional guest.

Meditation Paint Party-Follow the Featured Painting- 

This class brings together 2 of our favorite ways to create health & wellbeing…painting and meditating! Painting can really bring you into the present moment and be a meditative experience and we have found that a calming guided meditation before painting really helps to get into the flow of easy and mindful creating!

HOW DOES THAT WORK? 

The class begins with a guided meditation where you will learn techniques to relax and calm your mind. You will learn about the benefits of meditation and how you can utilize this ancient practice to enhance your life and any creative endeavor you choose!

WHAT ABOUT THE PAINTING? 

After the meditation we walk you through the featured Painting- You can choose your own colors and vibrancy. Use this beautiful painting to remind you that taking time to center yourself is so very healing for your body, mind & Spirit! You'll take your painting home with you at the end of the class.

Canvas type and size may vary depending on the painting you choose.

Meditation Paint Party-Creative FREESTYLE!

Like our regular Meditation Paint Party this class brings together  painting and meditating! Except…in this class YOU are the creator! HOW DOES THAT WORK? 

The class begins with a guided meditation where you will learn techniques to relax and calm your mind and body. We’ll show you ways to feel grounded and leave your troubles outside the door! 

This meditation includes a guided journey to meet your Inner Creative Muse! (Yes we are ALL creative!)

WHAT ABOUT THE PAINTING? Our instructors will give you prompts on how to begin as well as follow through if you get ‘stuck’  along the way. This class is more about the process of letting go and creating as opposed to the final result. 

You learn to give up control and follow your own creative intuition. Choose your own colors and vibrancy and let your creative heart guide you. This class is fun, profound and surprising!  We promise you NO painting experience is needed! You'll take your painting home with you at the end of the class.

This class uses a 16x20 canvas.

Duration- 2 hours 30 minutes

$750.00 for a minimum of 10 guests. $72.00 per person for each additional guest.

 

Painted Wine Glasses!

This fun and creative class is great for your own wine glass collection or to give as gifts! Everyone receives 2 wine glasses (with the option to purchase more if you like). You can follow our templates or freestyle with your own design. We are here to help every step of the way! These glasses are food safe and washable (no dishwasher please)! We provide instructions to set the paint in your oven after the paint has cured for 48 hours.

Duration- 2 hours 

$620.00 for a minimum of 10 guests. $60.00 per person for each additional guest.

 

We are also available for Private Creative Writing Events, Private Group Intentional Meditation Journeys with Integrative Energy Lessons and group and or individual readings with local Mediums Sharon, Marlene, Alex or astrologer Saphira.

 

The Details and Policies

• Private Events require a minimum of 10 guests and a deposit of $100.00 to hold the date for your event. Please be advised that if you end up with fewer than 10 guests, you'll still be responsible for the minimum (8-10) number of tickets.

• The maximum number of guests we can accommodate runs between 10 and 30 and will depend on the event you choose, we'll be happy to provide you with more information as needed. 

• Private event times vary depending on the type of event you have chosen from our list. All parties are for the stated time and will begin and end at the designated time. These times will be noted in your confirmation email. 

• You may purchase additional time for $50.00 per 30 minute increments. Please request additional time at least one week before your event so we can plan staffing. If your event goes over the allotted time you will be charged the above rate.

• We are a BYOB venue  (as long as you are 21 years of age or over) and you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. We ask that you please be responsible and bring a designated driver if your group will be consuming alcohol. Also we do check ID's :) You will need to bring your own cups, utensils and napkins.

• Please BYOA!  Paint Can and Will stain clothing! Bring Your Own Apron or smock or wear clothing that you won't mind getting paint on.

• All our events take place at our studio location at 36 Bates Road in the Mashpee Commons. If you would like us to travel to your location, please note that there will be an additional charge based on the event, the number of guests, and your location. We also want to remind you that we use acrylic paint, which can permanently stain furniture and floors, so please be aware of this if you plan to host the event at your own location.

 

Cancellation  Policies

• You may cancel or reschedule your event up to 10 days before your event and get your deposit refunded.

• If you need to cancel you must do so at least 10 days before the event by sending an email to Thecosmiccod@gmail.com.

• If you cancel after the 10 day mark your deposit is non-refundable.

• There are no refunds or credits for guests that are  ‘no shows’ 

• You are responsilbe to pay for the minumim number of guests not matter how many attend.

Open to the Public Events- aka OTTP!

If you don't quite meet the minimum requirement of 10 people for a private event, don't worry! You can always request an "open to the public event." This is where you can pick a date, event type, and painting (if it's a paint night), and we'll add it to our calendar.

Please note "open to the public" events must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance! Prices vary depending on the event & day of the week.

Private events are perfect for you and your friends, while public parties are a fun way to meet new people and make new friends. Private events cost a little more but are worth it for the exclusive experience, while public parties cost less, take a little less time and give you the opportunity to make new friends!
